We have unfortunate news for Guests of Residencias Reef, Sunscape or Secrets Hotel. Effective January 1, 2018 we will suspend pier pick-up service to these properties until further notice. This change regretfully comes from the hotel management itself. They have chosen to charge a $3.00 per day/diver fee for the privilege of having your dive operation of choice pick you up and drop you off at the pier. If it was simply the fee, we could manage it, but the system and procedures in place to obtain the passes for their very own hotel guests to use the pier is cumbersome, time consuming and quite frankly, ABSURD. All dive operations I am aware of are following suit and will discontinue servicing these properties until satisfactory changes are implemented to streamline the pier pass process. In the meantime, if you still choose to stay at one of these properties, we will be happy to take you diving – we will simply have to have you meet us at the marina each day. If you are a guest of Residencias Reef, we may still be able to provide pier pick-up for you. Please contact the owner or management company of your rental unit and verify that they will provide pier vouchers for you. If they are provided to you, we will be happy to offer pier service to you.
