Highlights:
Currientes Locos season is in full swing! Las Palmas provided a roller coaster ride leaving divers grabbing the bottom to regroup, literally. We're glad that Heather and Arturo survived their head bumps with the turtle and hoping the currents calm down soon!
The staff and crew wishes a very happy birthday to Walt! Hope you had a fabulous day and thanks for sharing it with us...even if you were swished around a bit :)!

Join us in Cozumel for four days of fun and diving with one of my favorite UW Photographers. If you've been aboard the Turks & Caicos Agressor in the last several years, then you know Christopher...Captain, Instructor, and Photographer extraordinaire!
The course will consist of four days of digital photo instruction with this award winning photographer. The class will give you solid foundations in everything from setting up your camera, to composition, lighting, exposure, and camera maintenance. We will spend a couple of hours each day in the classroom learning and critiquing each others photos and the rest of the time, we will be diving!
At the end of the course, you will receive a specialty certification for Digital Photography and you'll go away with a lifetime of photography tips and knowledge and some fabulous memories!

Join us in Fiji - Summer 2008
Blue XT~Sea Diving has chartered the beautiful Fiji Nai'a for a seven night dive, eat, sleep liveaboard adventure and a 2 night all-inclusive air/land/dive package at the luxurious Wanavu resort!
Sail dates are June 21 - 28, 2008. If opting for the additional land/air package, we depart LAX late evening on June 17th.

No Longer Providing Service to Aura/Sabor/Reef Residencias Resort/Condos
The Aura and Sabor Resorts as well as Reef Residencias Condominiums, part of the Wyndam Resort (formerly Reef Club) have decided to start charging dive operators a flat rate docking fee of $250 USD per month for the "privlege" of picking up THEIR hotel guests, regardless of how many or how frequently we pull up to the pier. This is not only outrageous, but it is not affordable for the dive operations. If we were to continue providing service to this pier, we would have no option but to raise our prices across the board in order to cover this expense, for the few divers we have there. This is not fair to our other divers, nor is it a fee we are willing to absorb.
Two other piers also have a fee attached, which will be applied to guests staying in these hotels only. A pier fee of $3 per day/diver will apply to guests staying in the following hotels:
- Park Royal
- Wyndam (formerly Reef Club) - pick-up at Sand Dollar pier

We have Moved!
Blue XT~Sea has a new home! Our new location offers us three times more space, a central location downtown, and a much cozier atmosphere. Our office hours dedicated to you our divers have also been extended. We will now open the office for check-ins, and "chat-ins" from 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday; 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday; and Sunday by appointment only. As always, our dive boats run 7 days a week except Christmas and New Years Day. Stop by and see us at Calle 5 #400-B, between the waterfront and Av. 5...less than a block from the waterfront! |
