This new island treasure should be added to the TOP of your
restaurant list! Kris Wallenta, former chef of Guido's has opened his own

and plantain mash and a fabulous Chicken Poblano! There are plenty of choices for the
vegetarians in the group as well. Don’t miss the sangria or desert!

Sorrissi $$$$
Calle 3 just off the waterfront
Open Daily for lunch and dinner
Truly great Italian food owned and operated by a true Italian ex-pat with an imported Italian Chef - you can't go wrong here! Sorrisi's menu includes all of the Italian favorites with everything from homemade brick oven fired pizzas to fresh pastas, seafood and of course Gelato! The Gelato here is the best I've had outsode of Rome! They also have a failry extensive wine list by island standards. This restaurant is a "don't miss" regardless of whether you think you've had the best Italian food anywhere else! |
|
Le Chef $$
Corner of Calle 5 and Av. 5
Open for lunch and dinner until 10:30pm
This is a great little spot, and I do mean little. It started as a gourmet "grocery" store where locals could purchase those hard to find ingredients. Now they offer wonderful baguettes, personal sized pizzas, pastas, salads, and some really incredible daily specials. All ingredients are incredibly fresh! My menu favorites are the Tuna tartar, the grilled Mahi when available, and the Shrimp pizza! |
|
